Badal extends financial assistance to late scribe's family
Chandigarh, Sept 1 (UNI) The Punjab Government has extended a financial help of Rs 2 lakh to the members of the bereaved family of late Mr Narinder Singh Bhullar, Chief Sub Editor of the Punjabi Tribune, who died in a fatal road accident recently.
Stating this here today, a spokesman of the Punjab Government said that a cheque was handed over to the widow of the journalist by Media Advisor to the Chief Minister Harcharan Bains on behalf of Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Information and Public Relations Minister Bikram Singh Majithia.
