Two shot dead; bomb lobbed at AIDS Control Society Director's house

Imphal, Aug 31 (UNI) At least two persons were shot dead today at Kotlen in Churachandpur district by armed miscreants.

Police enquiry was on to ascertain the persons responsible for the killings, official sources said.

In another incident today, miscreants lobbed a bomb at the residence of TR Kom, Project Director of Manipur AIDS Control Society at Langol here.

According to police sources, the bomb had been removed and detonated.
