Two person including Malaysian killed in road mishap

Chitradurga, Karnataka, Aug 31 (UNI) Two engineers, including a Malaysian national working in a road construction company, were killed when the car in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck near Imangala in this district early this morning.

Hiriyur Police inspector Srinivas said the mishap took place in the wee hours of today and the two persons died on the spot.

The killed were identified as Chang Chin Toe (49), the Managing Director of a private construction company and Rahul (30) belonging to Belgaum. The car was heading towards Bangalore from the city and Mr Toe was driving the car at the time of the accident, the official said.
