Balaji Temples in New Delhi, Sikkim by TTD

Tirumala
Tirupati
Devasthanams
(TTD)
has
decided
to
construct
a
Bajali
Temple
and
a
'gyanamandiram'
(meditation
hall)
in
New
Delhi.
Addressing the media here yesterday after a board meeting, TTD Trust Board Chairman B Karunakar Reddy said the decision was taken for the benefit of the people in the North.
The temple would cost between Rs eight and Rs nine crore going up to Rs 20 crore depending on the requirements.
It would be constructed along K kalyanamandapams at Vudyana Marg in New Delhi on an area of 1.5 acre.
It was also resolved to construct a temple at Gangtok in Sikkim where the government had already sanctioned two acre of land for the purpose, he added.
