Tempreatures rise again with no hopes for respite

Kolkata, Aug 31 (UNI) Temperatures rose in the city and its suburbs today bringing no hopes for relief for a few days now.

Met officials here said the maximum temperature recorded today was at 35.6 degrees Celsius which was four degrees above normal and the minumum was pegged at 27.1 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal.

With humidity remaining high at 94 per cent, the weather will not get any better for a few days now.

However, the sky will remain partly cloudy throughout the night.
