Teacher arrested for molesting girl student

Ahmedabad, Aug 31 (UNI) The City police today arrested a teacher for allegedly molesting a 13-year-old girl student of the Urdu-medium Republican School, located in Lal Darwaza area of the city.

According to Karanj Police station sources, the 36-year-old teacher, Mohammed Safi Abdul Memon, was arrested by the police following a complaint filed by the father of the girl student.

Police said the father had made the complaint when his daughter intimated him about the incident after school hours.

Police has registered a case under section 354 of IPC against Memon.
