Star Movies presents bouquet of Hollywood films this September

Mumbai, Aug 31 (UNI) Star Movies-India's number one English movie channel, will showcase a wide variety of movie genres ranging from comedy, thrillers to drama for the first time this September.

The Friday night premieres this month will present the latest Hollywood blockbusters like ''Crash'' (September 7) starring Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle and Matt Dillon. Directed by Paul Haggis, the film won three academy awards including the Best Motion Picture title for 2006.

''In the Mix'' starring Usher Raymond, Chazz Palminteri and Emmanuelle Chriqui and directed by Ron Underwood premiers on September 14. ''The Last Drop'', starring Billy Zane, Michael Madsen and Alexander Skarsgard and directed by Colin Teague premiers on September 21.

''Casanova'', starring Heath Ledger, Sienna Miller and Jeremy Irons premiers on September 28. Directed by Lasse Hallstrom, the film is loosely based upon the notoriously unreliable memoirs of writer, adventurer, and infamous lover Giacomo Casanova.

As the Twenty 20 Cricket World Cup is on from September 11, Star Movies will also present 'Sports Extravaganza', featuring the best of sports movies every Sunday at 1900 hrs like ''The Greatest Game Ever Played'', ''Goal'', ''Glory Road'', ''Rebound'' and ''Rocky V,'' stated a release issued by Star.

Every Tuesday night 2100 hrs slot will showcase hard-hitting action movies like ''The Living Daylights'', ''Die Hard 2: Die Harder'', ''Robocop 3'' and ''Red Sonja,'' for action lovers.

Apart from these, other Hollywood blockbusters named 'Hollywood Heroes' will premier every Thursday night at 2100 hrs, the release further added.
