Seminars on Indo-Italy trade in city on Sept 4
Kochi, Aug 31 (UNI) The Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) and the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will jointly organise two seminars here on September four to explore the areas of bilateral economic collaboration.
In a statement here today, CCCI Secretary Eapen Kalapurakal said the first seminar would focus on the tourism sector while the other would explore trade and industrial collaboration.
In recent years, there had been growing co-operation between India and Italy in trade and commerce. Kerala had traditionally been engaged with Italy in agriculture, rubber, marine products, coir and spices.
Mr Kalapurakal said the presence of Italian companies were also seen at India in services, engineering, environment, infrastructure and food processing sectors.
Eminent speakers, representing various sectors from both the regions would address the seminars, he added.
