One arrested with heroin worth two crore

New Delhi, Aug 31 (UNI) The Delhi Police Narcotics Branch has seized high-grade heroin worth nearly two crore in the international market from Bhajanpura and arrested one person in this connection.

The seizure was made on August 27 near Bhajanpura red light from one Mohammad Arif, a resident of the area police said today.

His interrogation revealed that the contraband was brought from Rajasthan and sold in Delhi.

Hailing from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, the accused joined the 'trade' in 2003 at the behest of his relatives.
