Nurse's negligence results in death of woman, her new-born

Azamgarh, Aug 31 (UNI) A woman and her new-born died in a private hospital here today allegedly due to the negligence of a nurse.

Later, an irate mob blocked traffic on the Azamgarh-Gorakhpur highway demanding action in the matter.

According to police, Meena Devi was admitted to a private nursing home in Mubarakpur area last evening for delivery.

However, Meena and her new-born baby died this morning due to laxity on party of the nurse, who was later arrested.
