New plant to come up in Uttarakhand next year: Chairman

Tirupati, Aug 31 (UNI) Amararaja Batteries Ltd, (ARBL) will set up a second plant in Uttarakhand next year, to expand it business in the north India, company chairman G Ramachandra Naidu said here today.

Talking to UNI, he said land had already been acquired for the second plant to manufacture automotive batteries.

The company's growth in five months increased to more than 60 per cent, compared to the corresponding period last year, he added.
