Minister hands over Rs two lakh relief to Dinesh's family

Shimla, Aug 31 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Excise and Taxation Minister Rangila Ram Rao consoled the family of four-year-old Dinesh who had died on the way to IGMC here two days back and handed over Rs two lakh as immediate relief to the mother of the deceased.

The minister met Reena and Raj Kumar, the parents of Dinesh at their home in Kararta village of Gram Panchayat Chowk in Dharampur area of Mandi district last evening and expressed his grief over the demise of their son.

Dinesh was deprived of medical treatment due to closure of roads for political rallies and his death led to a public outcry.

He said that the state government was with the bereaved family members in this hour of distress.
