been
captured
by
two
youths
on
Wednesday.
The four-and-half-meter long reptile weighing about 30 kg had devoured many domestic animals at Kadeya village since last few months before being caught by the local youths.
Japo Yame and Doriya Yame captured the serpent on Wednesday when they went to the jungle to collect firewood.
Members of All Aka Students Union (AASU), who kept the python in their custody, have urged the zoo authority to take custody of the python.
