Joint army field exercise with Russia and China soon--JJ Singh

Jaipur, Aug 31 (UNI) India will hold joint training exercises with the Russian army and China, Army Chief General JJ Singh said here.

Talking to reporters here today, Gen Singh said about 150 soldiers and officers of the Army and an Air Force contingent will participate in the joint field exercise with Russian army to be held near Moscow between September 16 and 18.

Similarly, a joint Indo-Chinese army exercise is also scheduled to be held in October-November later this year.

This will the first venture of this sort with Chinese army, Gen Singh said.

Presently, a joint Indo-US exercise is underway in Mizoram.
