Jet wins SAP ACE award for customer excellence

New Delhi, Aug 31 (UNI) Jet Airways has won the prestigious SAP ACE 2007 award for customer excellence in the best travel and transportation sector implementation category.

The awards were announced by SAP India, an arm of SAP AG, the world's largest business software company headquartered in Germany having more than 41,200 customers worldwide. SAP stands for systems, applications and products in data processing.

Jet received the award for Project E3 that stands for efficiency, empowerment and effectiveness. This was realised by contributions made by key internal departments like finance, human resources, purchase, ground services department, management information department, information systems department and communications, said airline's executive director Saroj Datta.

Jet currently operates over 340 flights daily to 52 destinations with a fleet of 65 aircraft. Since inception in May 1993, it has flown over 75.61 million passengers.
