IPA to give awards in commerce,accountancy and Finance fields

Hyderabad, Aug 31 (UNI) The Institute of Practical Accountancy (IPA), a premier institute providing accountancy training here would present awards in the field of Commerce, Accountancy and Finance.

Addressing a press conference today, IPA Director D B Prakash said the IPA Sanman Awards would be presented at a function here on September 3 this year.

He said the Lifetime Achievement Award would be presented to Canara Bank Chairman and Managing Director M B N Rao.

He said the IPA award for excellence in Accountancy and Finance would be presented to Novopan Industries (Hyderabad) Managing Director N Anil Kumar Reddy.

The Best Commerce Faculty award would be given to Osmania University's Associate Professor in the Department of Commerce K Shankaraiah, Railway Degree College Principal D V Nalini Devi, Pragathi Maha Vidyalaya Senior Commerce Lecturer Y Krishna Mohan Naidu, Madhu Malancha Govt Degree College lecturer Vontari Bheem Reddy and St Francis College reader Malliswari, Prof G Laxman of the Department of Commerce in Osmania University and Indira Priyadarshini Degree college for women lecturer G Venkat Reddy.

The IPA Proficiency awards have been bagged by Practicing Chartered Accountant S S R Kotewara Rao and Sales Tax and Income Tax Practitioner R D Rathi, Practicing Cost Accountant A V N S Nageswara Rao, Practicing Tax Advocate Krishna Murthy and practicing company secretary B Satya Reddy.
