Giordano Travel Gear launches flagship brand store

Ahmedabad, Aug 31 (UNI) Giordano Travel Gear today unveiled its flag ship store in Gujarat.

The store, sprawling over 1400 sq ft area, exhibits the fashion brand's impressive and exciting range of travel gear at the Iscon Mall, located on fast-developing Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway, in the city.

Giordano Travel Gear is an established premium luggage brand in the country, offering the entire product portfolio ranging from soft luggage, hard luggage, business cases, backpacks and accessories, said Ramesh Rath, Chief Executive Officer of Elite Brands Private Limited, said while talking to mediapersons here.

Mr Rath said Giordano Travel Gear products have set a new trend in the luggage category as it is the only luggage brand in vogue, with the widest option in the uprights, suitcases, backpacks and backpack trolleys, apart from the laptop-compatible portfolio cases.

He said Gujaratis are known to be frequent travellers across India as well as the world.

''We look forward to serve the needs of the Non Resident Gujaratis (NRGs) as well,'' Mr Rath said.

Currently, there are 20 exclusive stores, around 50 shop-in-shops and approximately 150 other outlets spread across the country. The company has plans to open its second store in Surat soon, while expansion in other cities like Vaodara and Rajkot will be done shortly, he added.
