Four year old child raped, murdered in Punjab

Ludhiana, Aug 31 (UNI) A four year old child was allegedly raped and then strangulated to death by a 32-year old married man in Kangwal locality near Focal Point here last night, police today said.

According to the police the alleged accused identified as Kapil Dev, a migrant labourer abducted the child from her home last night.

After raping the child, he strangulated her to death and then buried the dead body.

On the bases of suspicion, the police today took Kapil Dev into custody and during interrogation he admitted to the crime. Later he led the police party to the place where the body was buried.

The police has arrested the accused and sent the body of the child for post mortem.
