Ex-sarpanch's inebriated son killed by friend

Bareilly, Aug 31 (UNI) The inebriated son of a former sarpanch succumbed to bullet injuries after being shot at by his friend over a minor dispute in Fareedpur Tehsil area of the district.

Dinesh -- son of an ex-sarpanch -- was fatally attacked by his friend after a dispute among them snowballed into a full-fledged clash late yesterday.

The accused is at large, police said.

A manhunt had been launched to nab the absconding killer.
