Development of J'khand is my priority: Sibu Soren
Bokaro, Aug 31 (UNI) Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(JMM) supremo Sibu Soren today reiterated that he would prefer to work for the state's development rather than acquire a ministerial berth in the state or the Centre.
Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Soren said fulfilling the dreams of the innumerable people, who had sacrificed their lives during the Jharkhand movement, was his priority.
The former union minister said the downtrodden and weaker sections would benefit from the Common Minimum Programme and Rehabilitation Policy to be announced soon by the state government.
The coordination committee along with the chief minister and deputy chief minidter would soon meet to discuss developmental issues, he added.
The JMM supremo hoped that he would be acquitted from the Chirudih massacre case as it was assocaited with the Jharhand movement.
About 11 persons were killed in the Chirudih massacre in Jamtara about three decades ago in which Mr Soren was accused.
