Death for accused in multiple murder case

Thrissur, Aug 31 (UNI) A fast track court today sentenced a man to death for murdering four members of a family at Orumanayoor in the district.

Sessions Judge P K Haneefa handed down the death sentence after finding Navas (28) guilty of murdering Ramachandran (45), his wife Latha (37), daughter Chithra (11) and mother Karthiyayini (80) in November 2005.

It was found that the convict's relationship with Latha led to the crime.
