CR to operate midnight block on Sept 1-2
Mumbai, Aug 31 (UNI) The Central Railway (CR) will operate a midnight traffic block on the Up North East line between Shahad and Kalyan stations from 2230 hrs on September 1 to 0630 hrs on September 2 for carrying out Traffic/S and T works.
The CR, in a release here today, stated that due to this, the mail/express trains scheduled to arrive during the block period will arrive at their respective destinations behind schedule.
The release also said certain locals on September 1 and 2 will stand cancelled. The locals cancelled are on the Dn line Dadar- Titwala local leaving Dadar at 2022 hrs; Thane-Titwala local leaving Thane at 0617 hrs; Kurla-Titwala local leaving Kurla at 0448 hrs; Kalyan-Asangaon leaving Kalyan at 0510 hrs; Dadar-Kalyan leaving Dadar at 0748 hrs; Kasara local leaving CST at 1921 hrs; Titwala locals leaving CTS at 2102 hrs, 2127 hrs, 2156 hrs and Ambernath local leaving CST at 0532 hrs.
The Up locals which have been cancelled are CST locals leaving Kasara at 2235 hrs and 0405 hrs, CST locals leaving Titwala at 2318 hrs, 0355 hrs and 0431 hrs, CST locals leaving Kalyan at 0512 hrs, 0522 hrs and 0841 hrs, Kurla local leaving Titwala at 2350 hrs, Kalyan local leaving Asangaon at 2355 hrs, and CST local leaving Ambarnath at 0717 hrs, the release added.
