Army's vocational training cum women empowerment course completed

Jammu, 31 Aug (UNI) The vocational training cum women empowerment centre, 'Shakti Sadan', completed training of its second batch today.

Amidst parents of the trainees and other, mrs Durgesh Guleria, Vice President Awwa, CI force (uniform) distributed the certificates to the trainees who went through two months of training curriculum, a defence spokesperson said.

Each trainee was imparted vocational training in four major disciplines like tailoring, knitting, candle making and food processing.

In addition, all students were given women empowerment training in personal grooming, handicraft and Anganwadi Aspects. Training of the third batch is scheduled to commence with effect from october.
