Ambedkar Sena holds protest rally in Phagwara

Phagwara, Aug 31 (UNI) Hundreds of the activists belonging to Ambedeker Sena held noisy demonstration and march in the town in protest against Gohana episode.

The protest march, led by Surinder Dhadha, started after paying obeisances before the statue of Dr Ambedeker in local Hargobind Nagar, passed through main bazars of the town and national highways and concluded at SDM office, where a protest rally was organised which was addressed by various Dalit leaders who strongly demanded immediate arrests of the culprits.

Later, the demonstrators submitted detailed memorandum to Phagwara SDM Amarjit Paul.

Road traffic remained disrupted for about half an hour on G T Road due to this noisy demonstration.
