A dozen people injured in group clash in Kashmir
Srinagar, Aug 31 (UNI) About a dozen persons were injured when supporters of two political parties clashed in north Kashmir, official sources said.
They said supporters to two rival political parties clashed at village Shilwat in Sumbal area this morning.
About a dozen people from both the sides were injured, they said adding a shop of one Bashir Ahmad Malla was also set on fire by the supporters of rival party.
However, police immediately swung into action and brought the situation under control after mild lathicharge.
A case has been registered at the sumbal police station and some miscreants were also arrested, a police spokesman said.
