8 killed in road mishap

Biharsharif, Aug 31 (UNI) Atleast 8 people including Two women and two chieldren were killed while 24 others sustained injuries when a bus carrying them fell into a road side ditch near Babubigha village on Ekangar Shrai- Islampur road in Nalanda district.

Police said yesterday that the ill fated bus was on its way to Gaya from Patna when the incident took place. 8 people died on the spot while 24 others were injured.

Injured persons were rushed to a local hospital police said adding the reason behind the accident was stated to be the driver losing control over his vehicle.
