29 youth from abroad to visit Goa under 'Know India' programme
Panaji, Aug 31 (UNI) A group of 29 young professionals of Indian origin, residing abroad, will visit Goa under the ''Know India'' programme from September 2 to 15 next year.
NRI Affairs Commissioner Eduardo Faleiro, speaking to media persons here today, said these youth will be coming from countries like Canada, Guyana, Israel, Malaysia, Mauritius, Netherlands, South Africa, Trinidad, Tobago and UK.
During their stay in Goa, the group will visit the Goa University, the Goa Science Centre, the industrial estates, the Goa Shipyard, the Mormugao Port Trust, and also visit the various irrigation project sites.
The ''Know India'' programme has been organised in association with the Central Government, the Confederation of Indian Industry, and the Nehru Yuva Kendra.
