2 students drown in Waghodia canal of Junagadh
Junagadh, Gujarat, Aug 31 (UNI) Two students drowned in the Waghadia canal last evening in the Talala-Gir tehsil area, 5 km from Talala when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling turned turtle.
The autorickshaw carrying eight persons, including three women, turned turtle while passing over a bridge on the Waghadia canal. Six persons were rescued, while the two students were washed away in the flooded canal.
The deceased hailing from Jebur village have been identified as Nayan Dhirubhai Karangia and Akshay Jethiram Dasani. Both were 15-years-old and students of class XI. However the bodies of the two have not been recovered so far.
