Warm humid weather in Delhi, mercury rises to 36.2 deg C

New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) After a pleasant weather over the past few days, warm and humid conditions today returned to Delhi with the mercury rising to 36.2 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.

A bright Sunny day welcomed Delhiites this morning, after an overcast sky over the past few days.

The maximum temperatures rose from 35.2 degrees Celsius yesterday to 36.2 degrees C today. The minimum was also recorded two degrees above normal at 27.5 degrees C.

The warm and humid weather came in the wake of pleasant weather over the past few days following heavy rainfall at the beginning of the week.

The end of the week could again see a return to pleasant weather with weatherman forecasting more rain or thundershowers in the national capital in the next few days due to formation of a low pressure area over North West Bay of Bengal around that time.

The Met office has forecast a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.
