Tribal students urge government to fulfil demands

Imphal, Aug 30 (UNI): The All Tribal Students Union Manipur has supported the state government's proposal to ban bandh and blockade adding this was reasonable and logical in view of current political and social situation.

The ATSUM since June 2003 had forced economic blockade on the state's highways for about ten times ranging from 3 days to 14 days. All these agitations ended after talks with the government in the highest level and with the latter conceding some of demands and promising some.
