Stirring up hornets' nest proves costly for boy

Kasargod, Kerala, Aug 30 (UNI) A tiny tot in this northernmost district of Kerala had to pay with his precious life for literally stirring up hornets' nest.

Two-year-old Mubasheer, son of Rahim, a resident of Seethamgoli in the district, bordering Karnataka, was playing with his friends near his house on August 27.

One of the boys pelted stones at the nest, incurring the wrath of the hornets, which attacked little Mubasheer, while the others managed to flee.

Bruised badly all over his body, the boy was rushed to a private hospital in Mangalore. However, he died the following day.
