SR to run special trains during Velankanni festival

Chennai, Aug 30 (UNI) Southern Railways (SR) will run special trains for Velankanni festival to clear the extra rush of passengers A SR release here said the Tiruvarur - Chennai Egmore special will leave Tiruvarur at 21.30 hrs on September two and September eight and arrive Chennai Egmore at 06.30 hrs, the next day.

The Chennai Egmore - Tiruvarur Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 19.00 hrs on September three and arrive Tiruvarur at 04.00 hrs, the next day.

Chennai Egmore - Tiruchchirappalli Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 23.00 hrs on September nine and arrive Tiruchchirappalli at 06.15 hrs, the next day.

Tuticorin - Tiruvarur Special will leave Tuticorin at 17.30 hrs.

on September seven and arrive Tiruvarur at 04.00 hrs, the next day.

In the return direction, Tiruvarur - Tuticorin special will leave Tiruvarur at 22.30 hrs on September eight and arrive Tuticorin at 07.30 hrs, the next day.

Tiruchchirappalli - Tiruvarur Special will leave Tiruchchirappalli at 18.30 hrs on September two and September eight and arrive Tiruvarur at 20.45 hrs.

In the return direction Tiruvarur - Tiruchchirappalli special will leave Tiruvarur at 05.30 hrs September four and arrive Tiruchchirappalli at 08.45 hrs, the release added.
