Six killed in Kashmir accident
Srinagar, Aug 30: At least six persons were killed and 10 injured when a vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in a village at Leh in Jammu and Kashmir.
A police spokesman said a Tata Mobile vehicle fell into a deep gorge at village Nimo Leh this morning resulting in on the spot death of six passengers and injuries to ten others.
The injured were admitted to a hospital, he said.
In another road accident in the Kashmir valley, a matador hit a horse cart at Wagoora, Kreeri, in Baramulla district causing injuries to four persons.
In other accidents, three more persons were injured when a car turned turtle at Mangloora Kunzer and another person was wounded in a similar accident at Nesbal, Bandipora. All the injured have been admitted to different hospitals.
