Taking suo-moto cognisance of a news report about the kidnappings, the Commission said the incidents raise a serious issue of human rights violations.

According to the August 26 report, a 15-year-old girl of Budh Vihar in Sultanpuri had gone missing in July this year.

The victims said seven other girls from Sultanpuri area had been taken by the same person for being trafficked to Gulf countries.
