Jet Airways' daily flights from B'lore-S'pore in Dec
Bangalore, Aug 30: Jet Airways will introduce Bangalore-Singapore daily flight service in December, it was announced today.
Speaking to newsmen here, Jet Airways General Manager (South) U Harish Shenoy said that though the airways had several ideas to introduce services from Bangalore, it was waiting for allottment of slots in the upcoming International Airport near Devanahalli. Once it was decided, various services to cover destinations such as New York and San Fransisco would be considered, he noted.
Replying to queries he said the recently introduced Mumbai-Brussels-New York daily service was evoking very good response with over 40 per cent travellers from South Indian States.
The airways had a hub in Brussels to enable travellers to choose various destination in European countries or to the United States direct, he explained.
Answering a question, he said aircraft age concept was normally done on a 50:50 proportion on either lease or own basis. The airways had also ordered for 10 new Boeing 777-300 ERs of which four had already been delivered and were operating twice-daily services on the Mumbai-London route and a daily service on the Mumbai-New York route.
