Homecoming of Tiwana in SAD (A), appointed political advisor

Fatehgarh Sahib, Aug 30 (UNI) World Sikh Mission president Iqbal Singh Tiwana came back to the fold of Shiromani Akali Dal( Amritsar) after five years today and was appointed Political Advisor to SAD(A).

Mr Tiwana announced his homecoming in presence of SAD (A) president Simranjit Singh Mann and his son Emaan Singh Mann at his Bassi Pathana residence.

Mr Tiwana had served as secretary and spokesperson of SAD(A) but had later left the party with his supporters on February 8, 2002 just before Punjab assembly elections to join Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal).

After joining SAD, he served as secretary of the party for some time but later he became president of World Sikh Mission.
