Gangsters confesses of bringing fake notes from Bangladesh

Hubli, Aug 30 (UNI) Members of a gang that indulged in circulation of fake notes of Rs.1000 and arrested by the police here two weeks ago, have confessed to have brought the notes from Bangladesh.

Commissioner of police N R Nadamani told UNI that a team of policemen visited the places of the arrested in Jarkhand for investigation. Meanwhile, the arrested revealed that they got fake notes from Bangladesh and used the notes while purchasing onions at Hubli wholesale market.

Further investigation was on and another team of policemen has left for Jarkhand to trace another person said to be involved in the racket, Mr Nadamani added.
