Gammon to foray into hotel business with Wyndham Group

New Delhi, Aug 30 (UNI) Gammon India Ltd today said it has decided to foray into the hospitality sector by entering in the lucrative hotel business by forming an affiance with the Wyndham Hotel Group international, Inc, (WYNDHAM) of the USA.

The agreement between the Gammon and WYNDHAM envisages development of budget hotel brands 'Super 8' and 'Days Inn' properties across India, said a statement.

The other brands of WYNDHAM are Howard Johnson, Ramada Travelodge, AmeriHost Inn, Baymount Inn&Suites, Knights Inn, Wingate Inn, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.

WYNDHAM Group, with more than 6,500 hotels in its chain under ten brands on six continents, is one of the largest hospitality majors in the world.
