FSL reports forwarded to High Court: Police Superintendent

Visakhapatnam, Aug 30 (UNI) The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) Reports relating to alleged rape of 11 tribal women by Greyhounds Special Police Constables have been forwarded to the Andhra Pradesh High Court, District Rural Police Superintendent Akun Shabarwal said today.

He told UNI here that the FSL reports and the other findings submitted by the team of gynaecologists of King George Hospital (KGH) had been forwarded to the High Court, where the case was being heard.

Mr Shabarwal said a writ of mandamus was filed by one Ramachandra Rao on behalf of Andhra Pradesh Girijan Samkaya in the High Court against the Greyhounds Special Police Constables for allegedly raping 11 tribal women.

He said the details of the reports could not be disclosed as the matter was subjudice.
