Four members of a family killed in a road mishap

Udupi, Aug 30 (UNI) Four members of a family, including two women, were killed, when their car in which they were traveling collided head on with a speeding lorry at Chirtrpady near Kota on National Highway today.

Police said that the car was coming to Udupi from Madhuvan near Kota while the lorry carrying Manganese Ore was going in the opposite direction towards Karwar.

While three members, including a women were killed on the spot, another woman succumbed to injuries in the KMC Hospital, Manipal near here.
