Dwarkish receives Lifetime Achievement Award
Bangalore, Aug 30 (UNI) Actor-turned Director Dwarkish today received Lifetime Achievement Award, while actress M N Laxmi Deve bagged Dr Raj Kumar award for the year 2006-07.
Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumraswamy presented the awards at a glittering function here.
'Mungaru Male', 'Duniya' and Cyanide bagged first, second and third prizes, while 'Kaadabeladingalu' was selected for special award for Special Social Impact, 'Badi' for best regional language cinema and 'Daatu' for the first best 'Dhruva' second and 'Snehanjali' as the third best jury's special award.
Mr Vijay (Duniya) bagged the Best Actor Award while Actress Thara (Cyanide) was presented with Best Actress Award.
The other awardees who were presented on the occasion are Mr Rangayana Raghu (Best Supporting Actor), Kumari Neethu (Best Support Actress), Mr Murali (Best Male Dubbing), Mr H S Girishrao (Best Story-Play), Kumari Deepa (Best Female Dubbing), Mr Yogaraj Bhat (Best Dialogue), S Krishna (Best Cinematography), Mr Mano Murthy (Best Music Director), Mr Thukaram (Best Sound Recordist).
Mr Vittal has received Best Art Director award, Mr Basavaraj Urs (Best Editing), Master Revanth (Best Child Artist), Mr Jayanth Kaikini (Best Lyricist), Mr Hemanth (Best Male Playback Singer), Ms M D Pallavi (Best Female Playback Singer), Ms Nagini Bharana and Ms Roshini (Best Costumes) were also presented the Awards.
