DHBVN gives last chance under "Bill waiver Scheme"

Hisar, Aug 30 (UNI) The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to give one last opportunity of taking full benefits of the "Bill waiver Scheme" to those defaulter consumers who opted for the scheme by depositing at least one current bill during the period from June 16, 2005 to May 31, 2007, but dropped out after adopting the scheme.

A spokesman of the Nigam said here today that such consumers can avail the chance by depositing their current outstanding bills by September 30, 2007.

The period of current outstanding bills is from the due date of payment of bill after they adopted the scheme to date. The consumers who will not avail the benefits of the scheme up to September 30 shall be disconnected.

No fresh consumer, agriculture or domestic, can opt the scheme now. The defaulting consumers who never opted for the scheme would be disconnected from the distribution system of the Nigam, he said.
