Bomb hoax halts surgeries in eye Hospital

Hyderabad, Aug 30 (UNI) Police, accompanied by Bomb Disposal and Dog Squads, today rushed to the L V Prasad Eye Hospital in the Jubilee Hills area here, after an unidentified caller informed that a bomb had been planted there.

Normal functioning of the hospital, including surgeries were disrupted for two hours while the police conducted a thorough search of the place.

Police cleared the hospital for normal operations after ascertaining that it was only a hoax.
