BJP demands summoning of state legislature session
Lucknow, Aug 30 (UNI) Alleging that the Mayawati regime was taking autocratic decisions without the consent of the state legislature, the BJP today demanded that the assembly be summoned for having a discussion on several public interest issues.
'' We are not satisfied with the recent decisions of the Mayawati regime. It is a matter of utmost concern that the UP chief minister is taking important decisions without the consent of the state legislature,'' BJP legislature party leader Om Prakash Singh told UNI here today.
Through the autocratic policies of the BSP government, multinational companies have got an entry in retail trade. The government is changing its stand everyday in this regard, owing to which retailers are in a dilemma, he noted.
Inveighing the state government, the BJP leader alleged, ''all efforts of Mayawati to control the menace of Japanese Encephalitis have come under a cloud. Sugarcane farmers have not received their dues, while due to the Muslim appeasement policy of the BSP regime, a peace loving city like Agra is witnessing widespread communal violence''.
