Volvo to launch S80, XC90 at Rs 39 lakhs and Rs 46 lakhs

New Delhi, Aug 29 (UNI) Swedish car major Volvo Car Corporation (VCC) today it will launch two models--S80 and XC90--in the country for Rs 39 lakh and Rs 46 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) respectively in the next month.

Both the brands will be available in petrol (3.2 litre and 4.4 litre V8) and diesel variants (2.5 litre D5) at the three Volvo dealerships, one each in Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh.

The cars will be imported into India as completely built units (CBUs), from Volvo's Swedish plant and will be available in 14 exciting colours for the consumers, said a company statement.

The XC90 is a luxurious SUV with a robust well-proportioned stance giving the car a sporty, purposeful and elegantly premium presence, added the statement.

The S80 has been created to provide a stylish space and versatility, appealing to the sophisticated lifestyle of people, the statement said.
