Two women, one minor boy arrested for running sex racket

Kapurthala, Aug 29 (UNI) Kapurthala Police today busted a sex racket with the arrest of two women and one minor boy.

The main accused Jasbir Kaur alias Babli who was running the brothel in her house at local Ajit nagar locality however managed to flee away.

SSP Rakesh Aggrwal told mediapersons that the racket was busted with the help of a decoy customer from whom the minor boy, who used to deal with the customers, demanded Rs 3,000 for arranging a girl.

After the settlement of amount, the police raided the house of Babli and arrested two women and the boy.

The arrested persons have been identified as Anita of Jalandhar, Paramjit Kaur and Ravi Kumar both residents of Kapurthala.

Police has registered a case under the Immoral Trafficking Act.
