Police preparing sketches of suspected bomb planters

Hyderabad, Aug 29 (UNI) The Special Investigation Team (SIT), probing the twin blasts that rocked the city on August 25, which claimed 43 lives, were busy preparing the sketch of one of the suspected bomb planters.

Police said the SIT team had already interacted with the witnesses of the twin blasts that rocked Lumbini Park and Gokul Chat at Koti area and took the details from them.

Witnesses told the police that they saw a youth moving around with a black bag. It was in this bag that the explosives might have been kept with a timer device.

The sketch of the suspects would be released soon and a reward would be announced for those providing information about the bombers.

The injured, the owners and employees of the Gokul Chat were also being questioned to find out if they saw anybody loitering suspiciously. The explosive was placed on an ice-cream vending machine at the chat centre.

Meanwhile, police clarified that a youth, arrested yesterday under suspicious circumstances was not involved in the blasts.

Abdullah, a native of Assam, was caught by people in Bowenpalli.

Investigations revealed that he was a petty thief and had nothing to do with the blasts.
