Pleasent weather in Delhi though mercury rises to 35.2 deg C

New Delhi, Aug 29 (UNI) The weather in Delhi remained pleasant today even as the mercury rose slightly.

Cool easterly winds, together with an overcast sky since morning brought some respite from the last week's hot and humid weather.

The maximum temperature, however, rose from 34.6 Degree C yesterday to 35.2 Degree C today- one degree above normal.

The minimum was recorded at 26.7 Degree C.

The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky during the next 24 hours with rain or thundershowers in a few areas.
