Family protests over woman's death in hospital

Allahabad, Aug 29 (UNI) People created ruckus and damaged property at Kamla Nehru hospital in protest to death of a woman last evening here, police said today.

Akhilesh Kesarvani's wife Anju (32), who was pregnant, had been admitted to the hospital on August 24. She was operated yesterday.

She went to coma after few hours of the operation and died later.

Blaming the hospital authorities for the death, family of the deceased created ruckus and destroyed the hospital property.

Police reached the spot and controlled the situation.

Body of the deceased had been sent for postmortem.
