Wipro to open SAP Partner Research Centre in India

Bangalore, Aug 28 (UNI) In an effort to accelerate growth and innovation for businesses around the globe, the Global IT Services Division of Wipro Limited and SAP AG today announced an expansion of their existing partnership aimed at enhancing development and implementation of best-in-class solutions, especially around enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA).

As part of the agreement, Wipro would become an SAP global services partner and establish a solutions lab here to showcase the benefits of enterprise SOA, industry best practices and innovative service-delivery models.

As an SAP global services partner, Wipro joined a select group of large consultancies. It would invest further in joint marketing resources and strategic planning to support the growth with SAP and to serve global customers and prospects.

Wipro and SAP would leverage their respective strengths,including Wipro's in-depth industry knowledge and implementation skills and SAP's comprehensive range of enterprise applications to jointly conduct sales promotion programmes for mutually agreed upon regional and industry markets.
